You are responsible in knowing the countries and their flags (HINT HINT). For your project, you will choose to report on one of these countries and include the following.

1. Country's name: Who named the country?
2. Flag: When was the flag adopted and explain what the color represent.
3. Climate
4. Population
5. Important/Common cities
6. Interesting Fact about the country

EXTRA CREDIT:

This months extra credit is to do research on our next author: Gabriel Garcia Marquez. This native of Columbia won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1928. Here is a website to help you get started. I would like a brief summary of his life and a brief summary of one of his many books or poems.
